Beat Meier has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry. Before co-founding Dynamic Tree Asset Management AG, he was responsible for managing and growing the wealth management business of UBS in the Prairies Region of Western Canada. Prior to that, he was a Senior Private Wealth Advisor and a member of the UBS Key Client Group in Canada, which serves Ultra High Net Worth individuals and families (>$50 Million in investable assets). Beat is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute. He is also a graduate of the Swiss Certified Banking Specialist program and has his designation as a Canadian Investment Manager (CIM).
Michelle Chow has over 20 years of experience in the wealth management industry. Prior to her role as a Vice President of Dynamic Tree Asset Management AG, Michelle was a Private Wealth Advisor at UBS Wealth Management managing assets and servicing High Net Worth individuals and families (>$2 million investable assets) in Canada.
Michelle has extensive experience in portfolio management, research analysis, asset allocation strategies as well as providing counsel on comprehensive wealth management issues; all of which she combines to deliver tailored investment solutions to her affluent clients. In addition, Michelle collaborates with professionals such as lawyers and accountants in order to provide her clients with holistic wealth management solutions.
Michelle began her career as a Private Wealth Consultant at Altamira Financial Services Ltd. and has served in various roles within client service, relationship management, portfolio management, marketing and compliance. She holds a BA from the University of Western Ontario and the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
Regina Minger has broad experience in business administration, human resources, marketing and public relations.
Prior to working at Dynamic Tree Asset Management AG, she ran her own business consulting firm in Calgary, Canada working primarily with North American marketing leaders helping them to expand their businesses.
From 1999-2005, Regina worked in Corporate Communications for Man Investments, one of the largest hedge fund managers globally. She has a degree as a certified PR Manager.
Andreas Strangemann has over 25 years experience in the real estate acquisition, financing and development industry in both Canada and Germany. He is the founder and owner of the Investra Group of companies, engaged in the development and acquisition of commercial real estate holdings in the top Canadian markets and throughout northern Germany.
He is also the co-founder of ePhilos AG, a leading software firm, providing e-procurement software solutions to large and mid-sized companies throughout Germany. As a strategic investor he is engaged in analyzing companies at various stages of their development.
Andreas holds a BA in Economics and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario.
Elim Kay oversees a number of organizations that span across venture capital, private capital, business advisory, and philanthropy. He has been involved in various internet and technology companies since 2002 across operational, investment, and advisory roles. He actively supports and advises several higher-learning education institutions, medical institution, and intergovernmental agencies.
Avisek Regmi has 20 years of experience in financial services and banking, including as a senior executive across private wealth management, capital markets, commercial banking and agricultural lending in Canada and Switzerland.
He began his career at Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) in 2001 and then moved on to hold variety of roles with different financial institutions in Canada before returning to RBC Wealth Management International in 2013 in Geneva, Switzerland.
In 2015, Avisek joined Syz Bank where he was responsible for developing business strategy, identifying and building origination channels for private wealth management business in Canada and Switzerland with a focus on high net worth individuals, families, donors and philanthropists.
Avisek has an MBA in Finance and a Certification in Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School Online.
M. Paul Lessard, P. Eng. and MBA, has over 30 years' experience in the Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) and Oil & Gas Industries. He was formerly a partner and board member of Colt Engineering, a mid-cap Canadian Engineering Procurement and Construction company, prior to its acquisition by Worley Parsons.
While there, Paul developed strategy and the business plan for a proprietary leak detection system, tripled the size of Colt’s largest alliance relationship, lead unprecedented and sustained growth in their construction division and, amongst other duties, served on the Leadership Committee where he helped create the company wide Leadership and Management development program.
Today, Paul is President of a private investment company that actively pursues new ventures and opportunities in Canada and the International markets.
Ulrich Huerlimann has broad experience in accounting and auditing in both Switzerland and Canada. He worked for several years as an accountant for Swiss subsidiaries of multinational companies before starting his career with Ernst & Young.
For the last ten years, he has been an auditor with Ernst & Young, auditing companies of all sizes in various industries. From 2007 until 2009 Ulrich gained valuable international experience in the Calgary office of Ernst & Young. During his professional career, Ulrich also worked in due diligence and was involved in accounting standard conversion projects.
Ulrich holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and is a Certified Accountant in Switzerland.
Erich Amgwerd has 20 years of combined leadership experience in hospitality, wealth management and technology, both in Switzerland and Canada. In 2007 as Executive Director, he restructured and modernized the Swiss Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Vancouver and Calgary, and thereafter served on the Board for 5 years. In 2012, he established and has since been running a 600 member community organization in BC.
Specializing in helping companies achieve success by maximizing opportunities in relationship management, operational excellence, service delivery and technology, Erich has been providing management consulting and business advisory services to clients in Canada for the past 8 years.
He is currently Vice President of AMG Global Research Inc., and also recently founded Ceruzi International Inc., a luxury and lifestyle services company.
