Chairman of the Board

Beat Meier has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry. Before co-founding Dynamic Tree Asset Management AG, he was responsible for managing and growing the wealth management business of UBS in the Prairies Region of Western Canada. Prior to that, he was a Senior Private Wealth Advisor and a member of the UBS Key Client Group in Canada, which serves Ultra High Net Worth individuals and families (>$50 Million in investable assets). Beat is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute. He is also a graduate of the Swiss Certified Banking Specialist program and has his designation as a Canadian Investment Manager (CIM).

Andreas Strangemann has over 25 years experience in the real estate acquisition, financing and development industry in both Canada and Germany. He is the founder and owner of the Investra Group of companies, engaged in the development and acquisition of commercial real estate holdings in the top Canadian markets and throughout northern Germany.

He is also the co-founder of ePhilos AG, a leading software firm, providing e-procurement software solutions to large and mid-sized companies throughout Germany. As a strategic investor he is engaged in analyzing companies at various stages of their development.

Andreas holds a BA in Economics and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario.

Elim Kay oversees a number of organizations that span across venture capital, private capital, business advisory, and philanthropy. He has been involved in various internet and technology companies since 2002 across operational, investment, and advisory roles. He actively supports and advises several higher-learning education institutions, medical institution, and intergovernmental agencies.

Erich Amgwerd has 25 years of combined leadership experience in hospitality, wealth management and technology, both in Switzerland and Canada. Specialized in helping companies maximize opportunities through operational excellence, he has been providing management consulting and executive advisory services for over a decade.

Actively leading community initiatives since 2007, as Executive Director, Erich restructured and modernized the Swiss Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Vancouver and Calgary, then further served on the Board of Directors for 5 years. In 2012, as a passion project he established, built and ran a 1000+ member community organization in BC until 2022 and is now working on developing interactive online communities.

Erich is currently Executive Vice President of AMG Global Research Inc., Founder / Director of Ceruzi International Inc. and also serves as a Council Treasurer in BC.
